East Coast Couples (ECC) / Hampton Roads Couples (HRC) is a social club
where couples may meet to socialize, communicate, and become friends
with other like-minded couples and select singles in a no pressure
atmosphere. A couple is defined, for this purpose, as a married
or committed couple consisting of one female and one male.
ECC/HRC is only a meeting place! We do not discriminate on
the basis of race or creed. We do require prospective members to
be 21 years old or older to attend.
We understand that many of our members are military and may at times be separated from their spouse for an extended period. In the event of known military deployments or extended business ventures away from home, the spouse of an established couple may attend for the duration. This situation must be presented to the staff prior to the non-attending member's departure, so that verification can be obtained. In all other cases, we will only allow single members of an established couple in good standing to attend two socials. An established couple is defined as, a couple, in good standing and has attended a minimum of three socials in the last 6 months. Memberships are issued to the couple as a unit. The Membership card will carry both signatures and is only valid for the couple of registry. One card will be issued per couple. Single members of established couples attending without their spouse must present their membership card for entry to the social. If one-half of an established couple attempts to enter a social with a different partner, they must obtain a new membership, canceling their previous membership. Members are limited to a maximum of three memberships during their association with ECC/HRC. ECC/HRC annual membership dues are $35 per couple or single female. Membership will run for a twelve-month period from and including the initial month. If membership is terminated for any reason, all dues are forfeited. Additional fees are charged for admission to all ECC/HRC socials. ECC/HRC will allow couples with a valid membership card from another social club to attend. For Social clubs within 150 miles of ECC/HRC, a ECC/HRC membership must be purchased on your next visit. Please read our Rules of Conduct. ECC/HRC takes cash, credit card, and PayPal payments at all ECC/HRC events or by check, mailed to ECC/HRC and received no later than 3 days prior to event.
